Behind “dinaki” is Dina Sotiropoulos, who grew up
and live in Zurich. Her journey began 2001
in a small community studio, where she crafted colorful
belts and bags from plastic tablecloths and comics.
With a blend of playfulness and individuality,
she developed unique clothing and accessories
over time that reflect her passion for quirky design.
Her collaboration with her sister in 2015
led to the founding of the label Mutschi&Zorro,
which created small furniture, lamps,
and decorative items.
She later expanded her creative repertoire with the Pocketfriends—Lego figures that she painted with new faces
and outfits. These funny little “friends”
could be purchased from a design vending machine,
called designomat.
Since 2021, Dinaki has established
herself as a DIY clip art artist.
She combines her hand-drawn images into collages
that are printed on fabric.
This results in unique culture bags and wallets,
as well as artistic jewelry pieces like earrings, rings,
and necklaces that reflect her style.
Dinaki is a self-made artist who continually seeks
new challenges through her creative work.
Her pieces invite viewers to see the world
through a colorful and playful lens.
