Yannis “Rubus” Rubulias lives and works in Athens as a professional illustrator and comic book artist.

He is the creator of the Greek fantasy series “Dragonphoenix Chronicles”. He has worked for Arcana Comics (“Deadly Harvest”, “Zipper vs Dominatrix: The Slave Trade”, “The Steam Engines of Oz”), ARH ComiX (“Arhian, the Head Huntress”), Larian (“Divinity2: Original Sin – Godwoken”) and as a cover artist for various publishers. His most fabled projects include the horror trilogy “Scarlet Sisters” written by Abraham Kawa, “Syndrome” written by Elias Katirgianoglou and the surreal comedies “Painan the Musclarian”, “The Alimighty Ninja Tycoon” and “300 vs Cthulhu”.

In 2020 he founded the company “Nerdula Creative Lab” with Giorgos Soulas and under Nerdula’s brand, published the historical fantasy graphic novel “Mythomachus”, cowritten by Haris Gioulatos. He has worked as a concept artist for the “Savage Crucible” and “Almighty Legends” action figure lines as well as a concept artist for the “Crippled God Foundry” miniatures.

He is also an actor with several appearances in both greek and international productions. He loves fantasy, rpg tabletop games, action figures, scifi, comedy and action flicks!
